Established in 1989, A-1 Golf Carts Inc. began in Lowell Peterson's hay barn with just two employees. More than three decades later, the family-owned and operated business has grown to a team of over 40 people. The dealership still does business on a handshake and builds its reputation on hard work, strong values, and long-term relationships with customers.
Based in Sun Lakes, A-1 Golf Carts serves nearby communities including Chandler, Gilbert, Florence, Queen Creek, Casa Grande, and Eloy, along with cart owners across the Southwest and beyond. Its sales, financing, service, and parts departments handle new and pre-owned E-Z-GO carts. The parts department is among the largest in Arizona and stocks a deep supply of OEM components, so most repairs are finished the same day or the next. Commercial accounts throughout Pinal and Maricopa counties can also receive on-site service.
The dealership offers custom modifications and accessories with virtually no limits. It also supplies specialized vehicles for hospitals, security teams, hotels, resorts, and campuses, including wheelchair-accessible and bellhop models. For businesses, A-1 Golf Carts provides commercial leasing from a single day up to three years. It also supports large special events and has the capacity to provide hundreds of carts at once.
